On Saturday afternoon we were glad to host Nadia Nikova who brought the Bakers Without Borders project all the way from Bulgaria to share it with some of our volunteers.

Like us, this lovely project was a finalist for The Intercultural Innovation Award from UNOAC and BMW Group so we were super excited to connect them up with our GSBTB Open Kitchen.

A mixed group from Bulgaria, US, Syria, Israel, England, Germany, Scotland, Poland, Rumania and more took the time to shape our ideas and hopes for a better future, all in the form of bread, which tasted amazing.
