Give Someting Back to Berlin provides regular Sprechstunde (Consulting Hours) for refugees. We have friendly volunteers that can help connect you with trusted professionals and organisations assisting with legal, phycological support, health care, education as well as more general information. Our weekly consultation hours are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12 PM to 15:00 PM at Refugio Café (Lenaustraße 4, 12047).

There is no need to make an appointment. Just show up and you will find us sitting in the Café by asking to speak with someone from the Sprechstunde.

We provide support in the following areas:

  • First steps in Germany – where to go, how to get around and where to get legal advice about your rights as a Refugee
  • Having a social space to relax and meet people – GSBTB activities
  • Finding work and help with writing a resume
  • Where to find psychological support, counselling and doctors
  • Childcare support, Kitas and schools
  • Understanding how to enter the educational system (further and higher education)

Check the categories below to find out about the activities. Our activities are organised in-person but with limited capacity due to the health situation. 3G rules (vaccinated, recovered, or tested) apply. We highly recommend wearing an FFP2 mask. You can find test stations on Kottbusser Damm and Hermannplatz close to our office.
